Hi, my name is Julius.

I am a Houston-based photographer and videographer. My background in the performing arts helps me specialize in photographing and filming artists. I strive to see the best in everyone that I meet and everything that I do, and my photography and videography is no exception to this. I see these mediums as a way to tell a story. Let’s go capture yours!

My goal is to capture your vision. Photography is an amazing medium to convey a message or emotion, and I love the challenge of piecing that together. I enjoy the collaborative process and understanding what you wish to achieve in our shoot and tailoring the experience to you is my goal.

I am also a wannabe travel and adventure photographer and vlogger. I love to travel and go on cross country adventures with my friends. In my spare time, I also work on several photo series and projects to challenge myself and try different ways to sharpen my creativity.

My family emigrated from the Philippines in 2002 and, although I do not face the hardships that many immigrants that have come before and after me have encountered, I shoulder that privilege to better myself and appreciate the opportunities I have been provided.

I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Music Theory. I am a part of Wear Yellow Proudly, an initiative that showcases and celebrates Asian American artists and culture and serve as its Production Manager and host of its podcast Through Our Lens: Conversations with Asian American Artists. I am also a part of ConTempo, a multi-faceted arts organization based in Houston, Texas. Lastly, I work as a freelance opera stage manager and travel for work on opera productions.
